Weekend Box Office Results for November 7th, 2010

This weekend was a big one for moviegoers as there were a number of great movie options to choose from.  As expected the super hero duo of Will Ferrell (Megamind) and Brad Pitt (Metroman) dominated the universe of the box office as Megamind brought in just over $47 million.  Taking a healthy second place was the comedy Due Date starring Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis which collected over $33 million from the box office cash pile.  Third placed belonged to the star studded film For Colored Girls which make just over $20 million.  The film was the worst opening for a Tyler Perry film since his 2008 film The Family That Preys.   Last weeks box office winner, Saw 3D, grabbed the fifth spot just behind Red which is still going strong in it’s fourth week.  Check out the top ten movies for last weekend below.
